Spring is here!

Even while the world grinds to a halt to combat the threat of the coronavirus, life on the farm moves forward. A patch of dry, warm weather in March allowed us to plant your future Christmas tree. This year we planted Nobles and Grand Fir, two of the most popular types of Christmas trees in the Pacific Northwest. Our seedlings are purchased locally and planted in the spring as soon as the soil is dry enough. All of the family works to drive the tractor, operate the planter and to straighten and pack in the trees to their new home. The nobles that you see planted below will take at least 8 years of growing before they will be large enough to sell as Christmas Trees.
