What's happening in the garden

This will be an exciting year on Hughes Family Tree Farm. We are planning for a new building to house our Christmas Tree U-Cut, we are creating spaces for families and friends to gather and enjoy the farm, and we are expanding our gardens to offer more produce to the community.

In the garden we’ve added another 60x50 foot space and 3 large raised garden beds. The large garden will be another raised bed garden and we will continue using no-til techniques. Connect with us on TikTok to watch us take a bare field and turn it into a sustainable eden!

Our other big project is installing 3 new raised garden beds. These are made from cedar boards milled on the property. After lining them, they will be filled with organic soil and fertilizer. The addition of these three beds will allow us to expand our custom salad mix production. Check out our Instagram to see photos from the project.
